It’s been a few weeks since my last post on Out of Ur, so I wanted to take a moment to update you on some of what’s been going on.
First, travel season has resumed. By Thanksgiving, I’ll have spoken in fifteen churches in eight states this fall. I enjoy the opportunity to get to visit some incredible congregations from coast to coast and see their heart for their communities. Helping them fuel current ministry and fund future sustainability has been a life giving endeavor for me.
Second, I’ve written a 30 Day Devotional book that is in the process of final edits. Legacy Impact Living will initially be released as an E-Book and plans are in the works for an audio version as well. We ultimately plan to publish it in print at a later date. I’ll share more about the availability of the book upon completion of the project.
Third, I’ve made a transition within my company from directing our coaching program to directing giver engagement. This is a shift that I’m excited to undertake! Part of my new role will be focused on thought leadership within our company as well as for Churches across America.
Finally, I’ve not been engaged with Social Media for almost three months, which is why you haven’t seen me interact on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter (now “X”). I haven’t sat down to measure the precise changes in my mental health by not interacting on Social Media, but I know its helped me have a better attitude toward myself and the world, not to mention the extra time I have not scrolling through my phone. I’m not condemning Social Media. I just don’t miss it.
To summarize, all is well, and life is good! Thanks for your patience with my inactivity on Out of Ur.
